Pros: None
Cons: Lock Ease of Use
It's a Knife.
I own an Avispa in SK5. I love it. It is the best budget EDC I've purchased. The only drawback is that the Avispa is too large to carry at work. Which is why I bought the Zancudo. I am disappointed I could not get it in SK5. D2 seems contrary to Esee's heritage, so I got the AUS8. It seems to preform ok, but I feel like I cannot sharpen as fine of an edge as the SK5 Avispa. The frame lock took some breaking in before I could unlock it one handed. It is still very stiff. The handle is comfortable and slim in the pocket. I don't feel like I over payed for this knife, but I don't feel like it was a bargain either. Ultimately, it's a tool that gets the job done, but it's not something I'm proud to carry.
