Time to refresh your land nav skills
I have been wanting to refresh some old skills and this set came in so handy. When I camp and hike, I always find myself roaming and trying to remember what I was taught. While not a true GI lensatic compass, the included map compass fills the need while weighing less. It was quite fun being dropped off last Friday and finding my way back by Sunday evening. Without this set, I would have been starting from zero. Recommended for sure, but if you don’t use the skills you lose them.
