Set up in the dark
Years ago when Jeff Randall and I were doing a lot of travel in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru we carried an older North Face tent that had only two poles, hoop style set up. We liked it because we could set it up in the pitch black dark, no light, pouring down rain. It was idiot proof to set up. And although not freestanding it would still work with one tie line at the front and one at the back. This Dengue tent is made exactly like that, only better materials and a little better design. It is the best, lightweight design I have seen. Mike Perrin ESEE Knives Randall's Adventure and Training
