Handy

As always, ESEE knives are high-quality. This little one is smaller than expected, but is a great EDC. Easy to carry disappears in your pocket, still big enough and tough enough for any task. I have enjoyed carrying it most when I don’t want to carry a full-size knife. Been carrying it most as my Sunday morning knife or when I’m wearing shorts in the summer months. The action is incredibly smooth and the shape is ideal.

Superb

I like this knife much more than I thought I would. It is the perfect size. It fills my hand with the swell and the handle. Premium steel, razor sharp. It is all you can ask for in a nice little compact knife. There is really no downside to this little blade. Plus you can carry it in most countries in Central and South America and no one will look at you or question it. At this price point I highly recommend you pick one up.

Good carry and everyday knife

I like that this is a small everyday carry and is very high quality build. I saw a video on tube and he didn’t like it. I think he messed with the action. I think it’s very well designed and thought out for what it was designed to do. I like the s35vn steel and handle material,design. High quality and easy flipping ability.

Superb

I like this knife alot more than I thought I would. I thought it would on the samill side but it fits my hand perfectly. Premium steel, solid lock up, smooth deployment. No downsides at this price point. Razor shar and just feels like a quality knife. OPlus you can carry in most Central American countries without much hassle. Highly recommended.

ESEE w/S35VN Steel!

First, I love ESEE knives. Second, I wish they'd use some better steel on some of their knives. And then there's the Medellin II! Micarta shaped scales on a cross lock flipper with the classic ESEE blade-in S35VN!!!! I love this little knife. Excellent build quality. ESEE covers it under it's fantastic warranty. My only complaint, it's just a bit small. The ergonomics would work better in a knife that's a 1/2" to 1" larger. Is it a buy? YES!

To small

This knife would be great if it was designed to be 1/2" to an 1" larger. It's ergonomics would work. Now, the knife is a little difficult to open and close. The pocket clip gets in the way. Just not going to be an EDC. I have several ESEE knives and love them. This one has really good steel (S35VN). That's what got me to get one. Wanted to love it but just can't.

Overall seems like a high quality knife I like the warranty the blade thickness is plenty for everyday use it tapers down at the very end nice sturdy tip deep carry pocket clips only downside is the handle is a little slick very similar sizing shape to rat 2 folder

Small but Mighty

First impressions right out of the box…tiny! It’s a lot smaller than I expected, I wear an XL in gloves so it’s a little hard to hold on to. Upside is the blade came centered & sharp. The action is slick & the lock up is solid! My other concern would be the pocket clip, the tip rolls up pretty steep so it catches on everything, if had it pulled out of my pocket twice already…just a matter of time before it’s bent, broken, or lost. Would I purchase it again if I had it to do over…no, just too small for my XL hands. Someone with smaller hands will be good but it’s not for us with big ol paws.

Esee Expat Medellin 2 knife

I like everything about this knife except the size it is to small it don't fit my hand which makes it hard to manage in the hand it should have been designed a little bit bigger for people with bigger hands.
