STEAL THIS KNIFE FOR $125

I own maybe 125 knives of various makes, including heavy hitters like Hinderer, Pena, Reate, et al. This Rike was delivered this week, and it's just fabulous. It's SO solid, thanks to its single-piece construction and overall excellent build quality. The handle is MUCH better looking than standard issue, and the added milled, titanium pocket cliff is a BIG plus over what's normally available. It opens with a satisfying snap and closes just as easily. I like it as much as any knife I have in the under-$200 range. Thanks, Knife Center and Rike you really pulled together a winner and then sold it for a steal!

Super Dope

Honestly I have to say I am genuinely impressed all around. With the holiday price, it’s a steal …. That’s rare these days. Looks excellent in person, blue axis ring more subtle than in pics. The feel, action and presentation are top tier premium. Blade finish is great, nice color and the weight is unbelievable. Must recommend and hope they add more color options.

Truly Amazing Design - action is superb!

I love integral designs and I am not aware of any other one in existence with G10. Should know that the action and lockup is spot on with this knife. just fun to flick

WOW!

This is a very cool knife. I like multiple deployment methods, while this only has a flipper, it is so well tuned that one opening method works great, and it's a pleasure to use. I was a bit hesitant because of the G10 (didn't like the feel of the G10), but with the carbon fiber overlay it feels great, and the handle just melts into your hand, again a pleasure to use. And the price is ridiculous for a Rike knife of this quality, I already like it more than some of my knives that three or four times more expensive. Rike knows how to make great knives, and this one is a steal!

Classy looking trail knife

This knife caught my eye right away... handle design & color, blade size and sale price. I was surprised at how light it is and the handle fits my hand. I plan to take this knife out on the hiking trail and use it for food prep...the blade is long enough for slicing avocados, apples, etc. without getting food bits stuck in the folding area of the knife. Very cool!

My Wife Wants This One

Bought this after seeing it shown in a knife center review on YouTube My wife saw it on arrival and fell in love with it so I may have to purchase another for myself if she takes it. Much nicer than the other red and black one with all G10 that one doesn’t have the laminated look that this one has in its red part of the handle. Nicest box I’ve seen from a knife company including a free microfiber wipe. In this price range I think this is the nicest highest quality knife I’ve seen

Love everything about this knife

One of my smoothest flickers with a very satisfying feel and sound on opening. The texture feels incredibly secure in your hand and is nice to hold. Beautiful knife with an excellent fit and finish as well. Am very happy with the purchase. Haven't used it enough to comment on edge retention, but was sharp out of the box.

Beautiful Knife

This knife is stunning. Right out of the box, the attention to detail and supreme build quality are immediately apparent. The flipping action is absolutely a dream and it drop shuts easy as well. The 154CM blade is shave sharp OOB, and I love the finish and lettering on it as well. The only critique I have is the screws in the pocket clip are not countersunk flush into said clip. Definitely will be buying more from Rike as this is the first I've heard of them.

Great knife

I bought this on a whim as I do love red and the 3.75 inch blade is in my sweet range. The boxing was nice and as I picked it up I was blown away by how light it is. The action on mine was incredibly smooth and flicked with ease. I really like the integral design and how the whole knife just disappears in my hand. The 154cm is no super steel but at the price point it's a great proven steel. I let my son hold it, my Sebenza small and Tom Mayo TNT. He chose the Rike on feel (he has no knowledge of cost or reputation so he is unbiased). My father also loved how it just felt right. I cut cardboard and zip ties with ease and whittled some sticks. No hot spots and I appreciated the light jimping on the rear of the blade. Honestly I wasn't sure how I would feel about it, now I love it. The price is hard to beat for what you are getting. I don't expect this to be a hard use knife so for cutting and general edc tasks I say I got more than what I paid for. I am almost never surprised by knives but this very much impressed me. It will be joining my rotation for the foreseeable future. The knife was shaving sharp right out of the box and still is. If your on the fence on this I would jump on it.

Incredibly Cool Knife

I'm actually blown away that this knife is still in stock, considering its current $125 price tag. The integral G10 with carbon fiber is unlike anything I've felt on a knife, and combined with the inset liner lock, milled clip, and ridiculous action, it feels like it's worth twice what I paid. Sure, it's only 154CM steel but that is fine for EDC and when you get all the other features, plus some incredible fit and finish, the knife is highly recommended. For perspective...most of my collection is much pricier than this knife, and I normally hate flipper-only knives lol. But this one struck a chord with me and I'm really happy that I made the purchase... Super cool piece.

Still worth it

I purchased this knife last Christmas and Carrie it on occasion I somehow seem to use it every time I carry it the 154 cm blade sharpens up well enough it did come with a fairly sharp blade the ergonomics of the knife and action are good great for big hands over the half a year I've had it I'd still very much consider it worth it

Handles look better in person.

Was conflicted on if I should purchase because of the review calling it a cheap toy. After handling I can confidently say I strongly disagree. Handle is lightweight like a toy would be but that is a pro not a con. Came sharp enough to shave. I think the pocket clip is attractive also.

Well worth the money

Great knife for the price nice and light came very sharp out of the box Only thing that was disappointing was the pocket clip I bought this version of Tulay for the titanium pocket clip and it is so stiff you have a very hard time getting it in and out of your pocket. Other than the pocket clip it is a very nice knife for the money .

great knife with one flaw

The reason for the 4 star review is that in my opinion this knife has one pretty major flaw. The end of the handle is shaped in such a way that it catches and scrapes the back of your hand when you reach past it into the pocket it's clipped in. It's very thick at the end and the G10 has a sharp edge. I have about 30 knives I carry of all types, and none catch on my hand anywhere near as bad as this one. Other than that it's great.

Great knife but the weight is incorrect

Just received the knife today and I love it. Sharp blade, light and absolutely beautiful. I have just two problems with it: Every website (including Knife Center) says this is 3.12oz, when it is actually 3.43oz. That’s a fair difference. The other is that the action. Fires great, but the closing is fairly stiff even after taking apart, cleaning and adding nano oil. Loosening the pivot enough to make it not perfect but quite nice creates blade play, so there will be nowhere near drop shut or excellent shut action like the Tuya Envy 2 or others. Other than those two things, I absolutely love the knife and it’s weight to blade ratio - even at 3.43oz - is still fantastic. The clip is pretty hokey compared to everything on it and perhaps I can find a different one, and the screws for it aren’t flush so there is that, but most of these things (except for the stiffness of the action) are very small gripes. Beautiful knife overall.

Nice for the price!

I really liked the looks of this knife and it's probably the only way I'm ever going to afford an integral so I bought it. My only nitpicks are the clip, looks great and while you can feel it in hand it isn't uncomfortable, but it seems a bit feisty about clipping on to my jeans. Maybe it'll break in. Would also have liked it a bit sharper out of the box.

Not Overwhelming

I love the look. I love the light weight. The steel is fine, a little vintage, but a solid precursor to many modern powder metals. I like the jimped round flipper. The pocket clip is a real upgrade, aesthetically. Functionaly, not so much. I have two t6 driver tips. One threatened to strip the recess on the long screws, almost made my heart stop. The other has a better fit. I had to remove the clip twice and apply an abrasive, easing the prong tip. Still, the clip hangs up, less now, on the way into my jeans, but annoyingly on the way out. The action is good, sure deployment. The detents work and don't make me work. Machined edges are defined, not cuttingly sharp. Lock up is ok. Lock bar is thin (so is the blade stock) and thumbs easily to drop shut. Textured scales mean a great grip. Edge could have been sharper. 154CM is a veteran, at one time exotic material, and still a serviceable go to. If the prospective buyer is unaware, Google it. The lack of a substantial amount of steel in the body of the handle is an adjustment but not a detriment. The weight missing from a 4" pocket knife has to come from somewhere... Clicks and snicks are now clacks and whacks. All in all, it's a sexy knife.

The Good - The Bad - -The Ugly

I really like this knife and there are a few things that bother me. It's well made. Very light for it's size. Nice blade and sharp out of the box. Smooth opening with a good flicker which is aided by the jimping on it. Drops closed smoothly as well. Jimping on the spine works well and the scales feel good. Liner lock is great, opens and closes like butter. With the integral design there is minimal hardware. I like the blade shape and the knife looks cool as h***. The large size makes it a little big (long) for my front pocket. Pocket clip is really tight and it's hard to get in and out of my pocket. When open, the pocket clip is a little sharp at the open end and digs into my hand. The handle fits well in my large hand but the clip is uncomfortable when I'm cutting. On the bottom of the handle (opposite side of the clip) the scale is sharp and digs into my hand as well. I'm glad I bought it but it needs a little tweaking.

Knife feels like a cheap toy honestly

This knife overall just feels like a really cheap children’s toy and the aesthetics definitely don’t help. Also the liner lock is lacking any sort of chamfering so disengaging the knife is very unpleasant. I took it apart to give it an initial cleaning & give it a drop or two of KPL but the “caged bearings” (really not worthy of being called such) came with the thinnest piece of plastic (don’t even think it’s nylon) that was already falling apart and this hilariously tiny ball bearing aren’t even able to move because it seems like they were just placed in a circle and then had the plastic melted over top of them.
