Look. Long story short. If you are a fan of stainless handled knives with excellent lock up and zero blade play with ball bearing action. Optional Beta lock, Perfect fit, finish, and function. And 14C28N stainless steel. And only got $50 to spend. You cannot go wrong or find much better for this price range or even on knives up to $100-$200. I own a few knives from Hogue, Cold Steel, and Zero Tolerance that range from $100 to $260. And this Ruike for the price is a great knife I am proud to have ibn my collection of more expensive knives. I will not even consider any other knife in this price range up to $100 as being an equal to Ruike.
This thing is beautiful. Great blade steel and shape. Lock up is solid and it came razor sharp. I've seen knives two or three times as expensive as the P108, with nowhere near the quality build or value. This is a fantastic deal you don't come across too often. If you're on the fence, jump. You won't be disappointed. Whenever I show my collection to friends, it never fails. They migrate to this knife and say "I really like this one". I must admit, I agree.
Wow! Hands down, the best "Made In China" knife I've ever come across. Out of the box, (very nice packaging) you will be very glad you got this one. Feels good in hand. The action in spot on. Best factory edge I've ever seem...mirror finished! (blown away with edge finish guys) For what you pay and where this knife comes for...it is a 6 out of 5. So glad I picked this one up! I am a knife collector and user. Most of my knives (over 50) are Spyderco and Benchmade. Trust me on this one. It's good!
I don't have a lot of money to throw around, so I did a lot of research before I bought this knife. Rave reviews as far as the eye could see, so I felt pretty confident that this knife would be a quality product. It did not disappoint. I did what I always do with any folder that comes in, I WD40'd the pivot, threw some light machine oil in, gave the edge a quick touch up because I'm not a fan of most factory grinds, and then spent the next two days playing with the flip action because it was just so much fun to flip this thing. The action is so smooth it makes one handed use effortless. The blade takes and holds a great edge with that sandvik stainless, and while the materials aren't the absolute best, the build quality more than makes up for that. It is slim in the pocket, and that deep carry clip makes it almost disappear. For a guality, stylish, low profile EDC on a budget, this knife is a fantastic choice.
I use this as an EDC tool. I open boxes, letters, etc. I do not baby it, but I also do not intentionally trash it. I have noticed recently the tip of the blade sticks up slightly, and snags on clothing when trying to remove it from my pocket. This causes the blade to open in my pocket, creating a very dangerous situation. The action is butter smooth, and the fit and finish are excellent. I am just not so sure why the tip is sticking up some.
