For the big fixed blade fan
Purchased the black handle variant. Have the RMJ Tactical Africa and when I saw this tanto version, I couldn't help myself. These knives may trend in the sharpened crow bar direction, but with a hollow grind, they'll slice. That said, not the sort of blade you get for the subtlety, and it's not intended for fine bushcraft work. It's more of a "what if you're all alone and you run into a bear riding a tank" sort of knife. Or perhaps more honestly, it's a knife you purchase because you want it, not because of its practicality (unless your spouse is asking, then it's totally a practical item, more tool than blade). One thing that sets the Asia apart from the Africa are the pronounced vertical lines worked into the blade grinds. There's something similar going on in the Africa, but there it feels more like evidence of a knife ground by hand than an intentional design element. No idea if they serve any practical purpose but adds an aesthetic element that does set the blade apart. Beautiful fit and finish from RMJ Tactical, don't think many would be disappointed with the knife.
