I was a little apprehensive about how well this style of knife would work, and I was very pleased when I was finally able to hold it and try it out. This thing is pretty darn light but not cheap feeling, and the milled aluminum looks really good. The fit and finish is impeccable and I really couldn’t find anything I wasn’t alright with on it. The blade looks and feels amazing, and it slides out and in without catching or hanging up on anything (was concerned about how that would be). Grinds look even and classy. It came very sharp out of the box and sliced through paper like it wasn’t even there. I haven’t used it for hard use tasks or anything more than light EDC type of stuff, and I have only had it for a month or so at this point, so I can’t really speak to how much abuse it will take or anything like that, but so far this thing is amazing and I am so glad I pulled the trigger on this purchase. One thing to note though, the pocket clip area underneath where it contacts the handle still has the milling. It’s not smoothed out like some other knives. It doesn’t seem to be tearing things up though since the milling is pretty minimal, and it comes with a nice leather pocket sheath if that is an issue for you. It hasn’t given me issues, but I know some folks are very particular about the clips. This was a great entry point for gravity style knives, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a way to try out gravity knives without having to drop 200-300$+ on a Ti model.
