Customize it how you want it!

I have several multitools of various sizes. We all know the story of owning the almost perfect multitool. It has everything except the one tool you need all the time. With the Roxon Flex system you can easily trade one tool for any of the numerous available tools. I chose the Flex Companion because it just fits in my watch pocket. It has the purple G10 handles and 4 slots for ant tool you chose. On the other side there is a permanent 1/4" screwdriver bit holder (comes with a Phillips). I was so impressed with the value of well constructed good materials for the price that I also bought the pliers based Flex Modular multitool.

As good as any other multitool

If you have arthritis, this tool may be too difficult to use (especially with one hand).

I seldom cut myself with knives. I cut myself twice on this thing the first day. All the edged tools are razor sharp. Some are tedious to open without cutting your fingers.

I swapped the plain edge blade with the serrated edge blade. It's easy to sharpen on a Spyderco SharpMaker. The awl is like a scalpel. Razor sharp but thick and tough. It's good for opening tough plastic containers.

It needs some break-in before all the tools open and close smoothly. And, some of the tools are hard to open without cutting yourself. I had to experiment on how to best line up the tools.

I carry this, a flashlight, a small pair of pliers, a small homemade pry bar, a victorinox swiss card and a Demko AD 20.

Overall, I would buy it again and recommend it (if you don't have arthritis). The quality is great and it pairs nicely with other pocket tools.
