DPx HEST II Review
This is a great knife. I haven't really tried the pry bar yet. The bottle opener is decent, but usually takes a few strikes to get a lid off. The sheath has one snap to attach it to webbing or a belt, and a rigging point at the bottom for a leg strap, etc.The sheath pocket is quite tight, but can fit my CRKT RSK-Mk5 in it for a backup. The blade is high-saber ground, so it slices well despite the thickness; it can slice fruit easily. The only con is that the triple-safety sheath slow to draw, so if you want to use it as a tactical or law enforcement knife, make sure you have a backup like a spring-assist with more speed. And you must keep the exposed D2 edge clean and dry to keep it from rusting, which is easy enough. Otherwise this is a great survival/bushcraft/tactical knife.
