Nearly Great

I've been carrying pocket folders for more than 60 years, and I've had (have) a lot of them. For me they are everyday use items. I don't mind carrying a somewhat larger and heavier knife like this as long as it is shaped so it doesn't print or wear holes in my pants. That's the reason why I deducted a star. The materials in this knife are beautiful, fitted well and appear to be of high quality. I love the strong back springs and reassuring walk and talk. Where this knife disappoints is in out-of-the-box feel. In profile the closed knife has nice rounded ends, but when I run my hands over it I feel harsh, catchy corners that are sure to both print and cause pocket wear. Because of that I see before me hours of careful filing and wet sanding to make this knife feel friendly to hands and clothing. After I'm done, I'm sure it'll become one of my favorites.
