Perfection on all levels
I'm a knife crazy nut who loves high end knives. I use some and others I do not, but I have an EDC at all times. The blade on this HIGO II is like no other, it's the sharpest in my tool shed. This blade I will use and update you on how it performs, but straight out of the box you can tell it's a special breed on it's own. There is nothing so far I can complain about.. solid all the way around. It makes a CRK look like child's play, and I love CRK. I do have a concern about the warranty only good on the original purchaser, and paying the price to ship to Japan and back to have it sharped when needed, and you better have it insured because if lost or stolen in route your out of luck.. rockstead is not responsible. On the other hand these knives with proper care shouldn't need sharpening for years, so they say, which when you see this blade you kinda believe. Give me time to use it and I'll get back and tell you more about how the ZDP 189 holds up. I must give a big shout out to knife center. I've purchased from others when I cannot get what I want immediately, but my first choice of who to do business with is knife center. They have never failed my expectations and I highly recommend knife center.
