Pros: Handle Material, Blade Material
Cons: Lock Ease of Use
Still undecided
First off, this knife has an awesome blade. I love the length, shape, and the VG-10 is amazing. The knife is the perfect size and V10 scales are beautiful and they allow a secure non-slip grip. I do have a couple of issues with this knife. I think they missed the mark on the Axis Lock. In order for the blade to fall free from the open position, you have to pull back on both sides. I have a Benchmade 740 Mc Henry Williams that doesn’t require that. If I pull back with only my thumb, the blade falls free. On this knife, it feels like the locking bar is side-loading and binding slightly. So far, I’m not a fan. Then, there is the pocket clip. It looks really cool and, it’s super small and slim. The problem with it is, it really grabs the pocket and doesn’t want to let go. Then, when you get it out, you have to change your grip to deploy the blade. Maybe I’m just a “knife snob” but, I can’t give this more than three stars.
