Wonderful Little Blade

Absolutely adore this little thing - perfect for fidgeting but also for whittling at the campfire. Blade comes out clean and easy and the whole thing feels solid and oh, just wait until you feel the handle. Its the perfect balance between a quality knife you want to use for real work and one you can show off to friends because they bought a crappy buck at the local surplus store. A great daily driver or EDC. The only complaint I have is that it did not come with a tool to swap the pocket clip for southpaws like me.

Great balance of performance and looks in a lightweight package

I bought the knife for EDC. Was looking for a reliable, strong but light compact blade I can put in my pocket and forget until I needed it. the knife works really well and does everything I wanted from cutting envelopes to thick nylon straps on packages. I'm sure if I pushed it further it would just keep working. Construction is built for rough work. The folded stainless steel handle offers superb strength and stiffness. It never feels like it is going to twist or bend excessively, or break. The feel is slim. The K110 (D2) tool steel handles wet weather, food cutting and a pocket just fine. As long as you keep it clean and dry it will not spot or rust. Note that you cannot leave a 12%+ Cr stainless steel wet either. the blade is really sharp out of the box. Should not be difficult to sharpen when necessary. The tip is needle-like. Possibly one of its weaknesses as it could break when pushed through something really tough but I don't think most people need to use it that way. Overall, very cool thoughtfull and effective design that looks great in a compact package.
