Function, Form & Fidget Fun!
I love this knife! As someone who owns and uses alot of quality knives, very seldom does a new blade come along that turns my head. First off, the crossbar lock. Always a favorite, securely locks the blade and adds to fidgetability. The blade shape works well and reminds me of a Protech TR-4, but for a third the price. The Bohler K110 steel is equivalent to D2, which is a solid blade steel at this price range. Not quite stainless, so don’t leave it wet, just dry when done using. Gimping is decent, though not grippy, I do wish it had just a bit more hold. The size is excellent. Not too wide, and not too tall. My hand has unobstructed access to my pockets and its contents. This is a big plus when it comes to EDC. Lastly, the ball-bearings that the blade glides on. Previously I’ve not been a big fan of bearings in knives, but it makes this one fly open. Buttery smooth and more fidget fun then the proverbial shaken stick. All around, an excellent value for the money. I currently own 5 varieties of this knife and would love to see a slightly bigger one as well.
