Deer Hunter’s Choice

This knife is good for boning out a deer, or jointing it. If you carry a trout rod when you hunt, this knife is good for gutting and filleting a trout. It is better than a Scandinavian “Finn” knife, in that it has a positive hilt to stop the knife sliding and cutting finger tendons. The blade is the perfect length for a bushman’s blade, and can slice the home made bread loaf I carry in to my hunting camp. A slightly higher steel grade would have made the knife a grade 5. The knife is a design masterpiece, and good to look at. The sheath is practical for any hunter, with a sharpening stone included. I prefer a knife sheath to enclose the handle to stop it rattling against your rifle stock but life is not perfect. I have bought three of these knives for grandsons, and forgot to buy one for myself. Great value!
