What A Deal For $30.00!
Being a knife lover and accumulator most of my life, I’m really impressed at how improved the build quality of these inexpensive Chinese knives have become. This bowie for $30.00 IMHO is a real bargain. The build quality of my example is impressive. Sure, it’s not the greatest “wondersteel” and probably wouldn’t hold up to super rough handling or whacking hard stuff but I didn’t purchase it for that. Still it’s an impressive hunk of thick steel and would suffice for most chores requiring a big knife or use during camping excursions. It came with a decently sharp edge. My only minor complaints are the knife fits too loosely in the provided sheath, (which isn’t too shabby), but I tightened things up by installing a thin slab of hard plastic inside. Also the single hand guard could be more rounded for better comfort. Sure the Staglon scales could be of better quality but they’re fine. I’m very pleased with this purchase and for $30.00 you’re getting a nice hunk of steel. Highly recommended!
