Very practical hatchet
This is an incredible value and and extremely practical tool. There are no bells and whistles associated with it, and honestly the sheath is mediocre at best, but it is the best you can hope for in a $20 hatchet. It comes shaving sharp and has held its edge well. I’ve used it for everything from gathering firewood to cleaning deer, and it had yet to disappoint. It has to plenty of swing weight, but is small enough to tuck in the smallest hip pack. I would highly recommend.

sturdy all-around hatchet
The design of the handle and the axe head are well done. This hatchet has a nice balance to it, and seems like it would be perfect for heavy, one-handed tree felling and de-limbing. The blade is sharp and has a nice look and feel to it. The only downside is the sheath. It doesn't fit the axe head well, and it's kind of an awkward design. However, it does protect the cutting edge completely.
