another great schrade knife

I use this product for a number of rural uses from cutting potatoes to opening envelopes. Handle could become slippery with moisture, but this knife is large and has a well fitting curve to the grip. It fits small and large hands.

Good, heavy duty work knife.

You can get a more expensive Sodbuster. I've had them. I would put this schrade up against any of them for what it is intended to do. It's a work knife to be used on the farm, in the shop, in the factory, or even in the kitchen. It's tight, well made, comes sharp and will hold an edge. For the price you can't beat it.

Really Suprisingly Good

I was really pleasantly surprised on how good this knife is considering the price. Excellent fit and finish. Blade is well centered on closing. Hair shaving sharp. If I have any criticism it's that the action is initially very stiff. Be sure you wrap the blade before you oil and work the action. After only a few minutes, I could feel it smoothing out. Great knife. A real sleeper.
