Cons: Handle Feel

Amusing toy, “value OTF”

Reasonably made OTF, not as stiff when open as the Smith and Wesson, but the safety and the release buttons are much more functional. The only real drawback and it’s a big one was locating the release lever at the far back end of the knife handle, makes single handed release nearly impossible, especially if you’re trying to look good opening it. As a tactical weapon, it rates a zero for that one design flaw. Still, a fun letter opener. :))-

Cons: Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type

Worst mechanism ever on a knife

This is not an automatic knife. You have to pull that bump in the handle all the way to the end to compress a spring. Then hold it somehow and depress the bump to release and open the knife. So, your choice is between having a grip on the knife and it not opening completely or holding at the very end of the handle to open and then finding a grip(if it does not launch out of your hand). Schrade knives are generally not great. This may not be the most cheaply made knife I have seen but it is the most poorly designed.
