High tech and really interesting gentleman’s folder

Pros: ridiculous don’t put your fingers anywhere near the blade sharpness, super lightweight, nice fold over deep carry pocket clip, beautiful mirror polish DLC coating on the blade (interesting because Tungsten Carbide doesn’t rust), Fibonacci sequence on the blade is pretty cool too Cons: I have absolutely no idea how I’m gonna resharpen this thing (I have 12 different systems and I’m pretty sure that this blade is too hard for all of them)

A nice knife with one problem

I like this knife. It is thin, light and extremely sharp. It has a nice, deep carry pocket clip. There is just one thing I really can't stand about it that costs it one star. That mirror finish DLC on the blade. That crap shows every finger print and that really bothers me. I don't like on my phone and this is a 1000 times worse. You can just think about opening it and there will be a finger print. My OCD compels me to wipe the blade, every single time. I don't like that coating; not one bit. If it were matte, that would be a million times better. Is DLC even needed? I don't know if Tungsten Carbide rusts. It looks great without fingerprints but terrible with them. I wish the blade had the same finish that the scales have.

Very Slim

Had to wait about two weeks to get my Dellatorre. It is a very thin blade with a double gound edge. it wasn't as sharp as I would have liked and no way to fix that. Even diamond stone won't hone it. It is a slip joint and it is a very grainy opening with a detent halfway so as to not cut a finger on closing. The mirror surface finish I like as sticky stuff won't readily adhere to the blade and is easily cleaned off. Being nonferrous Tungsten carbide won't rust.It is also very brittle so chopping prying a U-tube video has a guy chopping a hairpin!! Using it to open mail cutting light duty cordage kitchen duty other light-duty slicing chores this blade will stay sharp a long time. Heavy-duty Tradesman, camping, and the like would very likely result in a chipped for sure and likely broken blade. To have a conversation piece or curiosity get one. If your in a situation the chips are down and depend on a rugged knife this is not the one!
