Bought five of these (carry-loop design) for the family. I'm not sure if they're actually stainless, as they all have a black coloring (like gun bluing). They don't match exactly to other sliver-gripper's I've bought elsewhere. However, they seem to function just find. The point is precise and removes splinters, cactus-spines, and thorns just fine. Several packs came rubber-banded together and one of those was the vial-carry design. I don't have much use for the vial carry. When I contacted KnifeCenter and requested the correct one be sent in my next order, and asked for instructions on returning the vial carry one, the response was, "Your other order has already shipped." I'm not thrilled with that, but mixing in the other design was an easy mistake and generally not worth arguing over.
