Excellent

This is my new daily. It is everything I loved about the first knife center exclusively K320 but WAY better scales. Solid and weighty. The contouring and texturing on the scales is fantastic. Smooth operation, ridiculously sharp out of the box, and MagnaCut to top it off. If you want a K320 this is the one to get. Thank you Knife Center!

Nice variation of the original K320

The original K320 has been my favorite knife. I love it with one exception. The texture of the scales is so harsh that it quickly tears up pants pockets. The new K320 takes care of that with patterned aluminum scales. This comes at a cost, and it is its weight. The new knife weighs 5.3 ounces compared with 4.0 ounces for the original. That makes it 32.5% heavier, which sounds like a lot but isn't when you hold it. Because it has the shape of the original, it continues to be one of the most comfortable knives to hold. My knife closes correctly with no part of the blade exposed. Hopefully, Hogue or KnifeCenter corrects this for the person who has this problem. This Hogue arrived with an extremely sharp edge, as all of my Hogues have had. This needed to be broken in a bit with some stiffness and stickiness of parts related to the crossbar lock. This isn't unusual with knives that have this lock. My Benchmade Bugout was horrible when it first arrived. I think that the pocket clip has too much tension, as do most other Hogues. Overall, I like this version quite a bit. This is my seventh Hogue (eight if you count the Boker Plus Karakut that is made by Hogue).

Best K320 Yet.

I had the original KC K320 exclusive, liked it so much I bought the Heritage Walnut version because I wanted the aluminum handle. I like this one even more with the pattern on the handle and stonewashed blade. USA made with premium steel at well under $200, it's enough to get one out of the Ti rat race. Thank you KnifeCenter!!

Thank you for the new scales!

I have been interested in the K320 but had not purchased one because of the cheesy & rough handles. The plastic scales IMO made the knife feel cheap in the hand. The new aluminum scales transformed this knife for me & exudes more of that Hogue quality & Magnacut steel at this price sealed the deal for me.

Meh

Lock stick and blade will cut you in pocket because blade almost pokes out of scales when closed, after a couple sharpenings id have to file the spine down to prevent getting a real injury. Otherwise good design. Thick behind the edge also.

K320 is value not quality

Pros: I think the K320 is a good value on sale with aluminum scales and magnacut. The knife was sharp and the bevel was even. The handle fits my XL hands well. Cons: This is easily the worst action on a knife I've ever purchased, including 40-50$ budget knives. The action is gritty. The pivot was severely overtightened. The studs on the lock release are very sharp and absolutely brutal on the fingers, and I do construction for a living. This knife will require dissasembly, cleaning, and lubrication to make it usable.

Great however:

If I pop this knife open then it is very difficult to pull the lock button back. Thought it would get better with use but if anything it gets more difficult. Sometimes have to use pliers to pull it back and unlock to close the knife. I won't carry it because of that. Very sharp out of the box.

BEWARE SAFETY ISSUE

This knife had the potential to be perfect like the other variants but this batch has a major safety issue I fear. I ordered two of these and on BOTH knives the tip of the blade doesn’t sit fully in the handles when closed, cutting my jeans and nearly my finger. An exposed tip is extremely dangerous and I can’t believe it got past Hogue. And because it was this way in both knives I ordered I figured I might warn people as it might be a bigger problem. Will be returning them both until they fix the issue.
