Perfect Black Beauty
I am a collector. Saw this Hogue in an Anderson KCI video. Had to have it, In hand the Hogue feels substantial, size and length actually support a sense of confidence and the entire EDC feels balanced and handily grip-able. Love the black materials which are fabricated so well done with its finished surfaces. It’s all black and rendered perfectly. The aluminum shaped handles fit the hand with a generous shape. The G-10 inserts are perfect, and contrast in grip feel from the smooth aluminum shaped such that in hand the feel is so natural. The G-10 insert grip is discernible. The inserts on my Hogue are perfect. Sorry if another collector had issues with their G-10 inserts. The pocket clip is beautifully executed terminating with an American flag. In hand, the pocket clip actually fits comfortably. The Able release has a tension so one must be decisive when releasing the Able Lock and the blade flies open smoothly. Timing the release of the Able Lock can leave the blade (sometimes) not fully locked But that’s practice. The same action easily drops the blade into its nest within the handle linerl Blade is very sharp. I am still wearing a band-aid after flipping the blade closed and just slightly in the way. Solidly open. Centrally closed. It’s so perfectly black; it’s almost invisible. I have a few models in my collection perfect in proportions, substantial in hand fill. Blade action and lock mechanism makes them exceptional. The Hogue SIg Sauer’s value deserves to share first place status. And is a perfect black beautyl

Great Heavy Duty EDC
Bought this model once I saw it was available in aluminum, which I prefer. This is my first Houge knife and I have to say this is the sharpest production blade I have ever received to date. The blade centering and overall fit and finish are also #1. I did find the action was a little stiff at first, but after using it as my EDC for over a week, the lockup has improved. I have seen any discoloration on the G-10 inserts as reported by another reviewer Very satisfied here. Regards -------------------

Scales change color
The knife is amazing obviously but the “black” scales/inserts are literally WHITE after one day of carrying……WTF why would i want white/gray scales on an all black knife. All the pictures shown show black scales/inserts but does NOT match what it actually looks like. Actually really really annoying.
