NIce Knife for EDC

I purchased this to replace my Onterio Rat 2 (D2) I gave to my son. Very nice Knife but was not in to the carbon fiber handle, he thought it was awsome. I needed somthing that would stay sharp at work cutting banding straps on bundled pipe, thick card board, and some sheet rock at times. along with anything else I come across. Its not invincable but it does hold up well. As good or better than my 154cm Blades and not as long as my S110v but easier to sharpen which was somthing else I was looking for in this blade. This knife has become my favorite EDC for work great edge retention with out breaking the bank. pro's of this knife the look and grind of the blade great size for pockedt carry good clip longer than avarage edge retention light and feels good in the hand con's A little hard to sharpen I got a couple diamond stones to start out (120grit) after that my standard stones work great.

My new EDC

I EDC this knife around the office opening packages and other light use tasks. Everything about this knife is excellent value. For running on washers, it is very smooth and almost falls shut. The flipper tab and deployment is masterful at this price point. My only complaint is the visuals of the clip design. I don't care for the 3 screws and the resulting deep carry, but that is just nitpicking. 100% would recommend buying this product.

Mini Cutjack

Got this after watching many reviews, like the D2 steel. I have carried an Ontario Rat 2 for a long time but it has the AUS 8 steel and I really was curious about D2 steel and Steel Will knives. Overall I really like this knife but not quite used to using a flipper yet, really been carrying the Rat 2 so long the thumb stud habit is hard to break. Also the texture under the pocket clip is really aggressive and is going to chew up your pockets quick!

An excellent unassisted flipper for the price

This is a great unassisted flipper for the price. I have quite a few EDC choices, but lately, this knife has been leaving all the others on the shelf. Excellent action for a $40 knife. Does close with just a slight shake just like my $400+ knives on Ceramic IKBS. A couple of things I didn't like out of the box, but I was able to easily correct: - The inner edges of the scales were sharp as well as the flipper tab and finger choil, but I disassembled and knocked down the edges with light grip paper and problem solved. - I also bent the pocket clip outwards to allow for easier deployment and to save wear and tear on my pockets. Conclusion: Great knife, great action, great price. Highly recommended.

A Great Knife

This is a great knife for the money. It was recommended on the Knife Informer website. I would put it up against a Benchmade Griptilian or a Spyderco Delica anytime. It is heavy duty, and I especially like the D2 steel.
