Pros: Weight, Ease of Opening, Handle Material, Pocket Clip, Overall Quality
Cons: None
Quite Fantastic
The Daitengu is very much a gem of an EDC knife. It is slender in the pocket yet not too slim where it's uncomfortable to use. D2 is perfectly fine in this price point, and the satin finish is very well done, as it the overall fit and finish. I really am glad to see it running on bronze washers, bearings are most definitely over used in the knife market. The action is smooth in a hydraulic way, it is every bit as fast and smooth as the Ontario Rat series. The detent is tuned perfectly, flicking this knife open is easy, fast and very addictive. The pocket clip is functional and I am also happy to see that it isn't a loop over deep carry style. It holds the pocket well, doesn't create a hot spot and is easy to extract from your pocket. There is nothing I would change about this knife. It quickly became one of my favorites along with the Hogue Deka and BM 940 in G10.
