Smart purchase. Don't be fooled by design of handle. Locks in hand great, does take some getting used to in "gorilla grip", hand is somewhat away from blade, but you can put thumb over top guard comfortably, also sharp out of box and on sale at a great price. Back spacer adds weight to knife so gfn handles don't feel as weak and super plastic like.
