This is a great value for only $149; I feel like I hit the knife jackpot. When I can't find anything wrong with a knife, that's a big deal for me, and everything about this Modus is really good. I like a knife with a strong detent, and this one rockets out when you flip it, and you cannot get it to fail, and it locks up firmly, with no play anywhere; and the liner lock opens well. Great steel in a blade that's just a right thickness; the G10 handle is very grippy and comfortable and long enough for my large hands, but not longer than that. The sheepsfoot blade is highly functional, and the shape means that the tip will be pretty strong and not too thin. It will slice or pierce or do anything necessary. It has immediately become an EDC prime choice for me, which means opening packages and shrink-wrapped products, mail, cutting cardboard, food prep, etc. I really like it a lot, and I recommend it without any reservations.
