Pros: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Overall Quality
Cons: Ease of Opening, Lock Ease of Use
Great all-purpose knife
I've used this around the house a bit and gotten to quite like these Steel Will knives. What makes this knife stand out is the blade design: a subtle belly, fine point, and generous choil means you can use this for a lot of different purposes, including some pretty delicate work for a 4" knife. It also seems good for self-defense: the handle is solid, it's lightweight and well-balanced, and the blade is not something you wanna mess with. This is too big for me to EDC on foot in a city but I will occasionally bring it with me on the road. Good knife to have in the rotation.
A few minor warts. The D2 they used holds an edge but does seem to patina a little too quickly, so I waxed the blade. And I am not sold on the blue standoffs, they look a little tacky. Finally, the lock and flipping mechanism seem stiff, maybe they'll loosen up. The lock itself is rock-solid.
I got this on sale and it was absolutely worth the price. Full MSRP is a bit high, but it is a very good knife.
