I bought this specifically because I have a Kabar D2 that needed a sharp edge. I've tried regular old stones, ceramics and other misc sharpening methods, and this put the absolute best edge on the knife that it's had since it left the factory. It's been very frustrating trying to get this knife sharp and now that it finally is, all that worry is gone. I can't recommend this enough!
