If you can ever find these in stock somewhere buy one! I don't exactly live in a rough neighborhood or one of those towns where you lock your doors when you go get your mail but I walk to my job early every morning and we still have scum in my town who don't work to earn a living. I have a friend who was robbed a few years back and it just made reality sink in, in a very sobering way. This isn't the peaceful town I grew up in anymore. He wasn't harmed but desperate people aren't always well mannered... I feel better knowing I have something in reach that isn't easily noticed in the dark so I have a decent chance of defending myself successfully if this ever happens to me. Of course id rather not have to be in that fight but it's much better to be prepared for it than to learn from it the hard way. All defense talk aside... Do ya know how to tell if a knife is good? When it's been on the market for FIVE YEARS and is still selling out wherever you look for it! As far as the quality I can see in it, the grind is almost perfectly symmetrical, the weight is pretty impressive for such a small knife, finish is flawless, the sheath is as cool as the knife. The only thing I don't like is that the flat dark earth finished knives are never in stock. As soon as anyones got them in stock I'm buying at least two. If you've read this far I have one more thing to say to sum up my review: I am buying at least one of everything these guys make. May take me a few years but I'm hooked on these knives. Ok...one more thing...I am one to really dump on things that lack in quality (especially if they claim to have quality) but this knife is worth the money and the inevitable wait.

well done neck knife

Light summer shorts don't always work well for carrying one of my benchmade axis locks in the pocket (lots of good folders out there but I'm stuck on the axis lock) - so selected this knife as an EDC alternative. Chose it because I liked the size and shape, and S35VN sounded like a great steel to build it on. The size / profile / weight of this blade and sheath work very well. Knife fits nice and snug in the sheath. Can wear it under a button down or loose cotton t-shirt and the knife / sheath does not show through the shirt. No issue with sharpness noted by other reviewers - mine came out of the box able to shave arm hair. Polished the paint off the bevel above the cutting edge and believe it improved the appearance, along with reducing cutting friction. Would prefer that the blade shape be a little more drop point rather than fine point - but the grind carries the thickness well out into the tip, so am comfortable that the tip is strong enough.

awesome knife

I carry this knife on duty as a LEO. I carry it inside my waist band attached to the belt under my duty belt. It is small enough not to get in the way. It's fit and finish are amazing and the sheath is top notch. It was my first Spartan, but it will not be my last

I have had a few other neck knives that I have no given my sons, as this is the one I have always wanted. It is a great product and the kids like it too!

Excellent!

Great quality, nice design and the owners actually email you back if you ask them a question on their website! This works as neck or inside belt carry very well. The coating has held up great! The S35VN holds an edge well just like my Chris Reeves Sebenza. Worth every penny in my opinion and I have a LOT of knives that I collect. This one has been on me everyday since. Nice to have something you can carry no matter the occasion and nobody will know. Sits very flat on the chest under almost any kind of shirt and the weight of it is not a problem. I did switch to a slightly thicker and darker break chain than the one they sent it with. The added chain thickness I have noticed helps avoid any pressure issues on your skin with neck knifes. Paracord is even nicer but not forgiving if it gets caught in something, in fact it can kill you.

the best neck knife

I own many neck knives, Chris Reeve Pro soldier, Rat Izula and more. The Enyo is my favorite out of all of them. It fits the hand perfectly. For being so small, It just locks into your hand. Its pretty thick too. I believe it is .18 inches. The sheath is the best production kydex out of all of my neckers too. I carry this one on a static line that is looped over my belt and then I drop it into my pocket. The fit and finish are top notch. Its got a sexy design that at first doesn't look ergonomic. Once you grip this little beast your hooked. There is jimping in all the right places and all of the edges smoothed off. Mine came sharp enough, with a working edge. I put it on the lansky and then polished it up on a stop and it pops hairs like a mach three razor. Some neck knives are too small and some are too big. The enyo is just right.

great knife

im currently deployed to afghanistan and since i carry so much gear and stealth is sometimes a must have, i needed something low profile and with great edge retention and realitivly low maintaince for when im out on extended patrols. i highly recomend this knife for any infantryman.

Great knive. I love the design of the blade. Nice and small but with a good grip. The only negative this is the blade sharpness. It was not verry sharpe when I received it.

So beautiful

It fits the hand well and the styling is great. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is the edge. For a company that boasts about quality I expect razor sharp out of the box. I have bought cheaper knives that had a better factory edge. Other than that I'm happy with it.

Not a great knife

I had planned on using this as a back up self-defense knife, but I'm unimpressed with the quality. It's too small and does not hold an edge well. It had a poor edge coming out of the box and does not sharpen easily.
