Had A Problem With The Kydex Sheath...!
SO, I returned knife and sheath and ordered the leather sheath version! I am in bliss now! Fact is, I couldn't get the knife out of the KYDEX SHEATH, but the leather one will suit me fine (most of my Ka-Bars come in leather sheaths, anyway; though one of those Bill Harsey Professional Kydex Sheaths with the push-button release would have been great!) Leather will be fine; this knife isn't going outside; it's my new box chopper knife; (CPM-MAGNACUT; Get It?) I'VE been using a regular Ka-Bar the last couple of years, and the edge retention has not been what I would like it to be: this beauty should solve that issue! Size is better, too, with longer stroke, and ease of sharpening and anti-corrosion. I'm expecting a lot from this knife; I'll report back on what the results are!
