A pretty good knife, but hard to sharpen.

High quality knife, just the right size for easy carry and use in almost any conceivable configuration. A very hard blade which will keep an edge a long time. The Pentagon FX is nicely weighted with a good balance and feel. The Covert version is even more discreet, smaller than the FX yet remains highly effective, perhaps even better at some tasks. SOG Offers free resharpening and guarantees these knives for the lifetime of the owner.

In response to the guy complaining about not having a belt loop

Learn to install a teklok. It works great.

Bad tips

I ordered 2 of these knives and they both came with tip/grind issues. I understand it's difficult to get 4 separate grinds to meet at the tip and form a nice point, but for the price of these knives I expected that problem to be solved. Also, the secondary bevels seem to be rounded/convexed in a way that makes sharpening on a flat stone challenging. I'm rather disappointed.

Mounting problems

No easy place to mount a belt loop. I don't trust their fancy azz "universal" clip not to come off my belt when I need to draw the knife. Not everybody wears this on a plate carrier all the time--or at all. MOST people carry a light, multitool, gun, and magazines on their BELT. How difficult is it to allow a single belt loop attachment? Too difficult for SOG, apparently. Massive plastic monstrosity of a sheath instead of simple kydex with rivet holes. Try getting rid of your idiotic "adjustable" tension. Either the sheath holds the knife or it doesn't.

3rd try knifecenter......will you post??

This knife is terrible, blade so dull it won't cut through air. SOG has horrific QC issues as most knife enthusiasts know already. I'd love to see a well executed knife of similar design that wasn't complete garbage.
