Sooo much better than the old one!!!

Nice thick blade, very sharp and well balanced, all in one neat little package. The sheath could be better, but it works. I wish there was a partially serrated version as well. A solid backup option, well worth the purchase.

Any complaints are unwarranted from yuppies

Been a knife addict and collector with street combat (we'll call it that) lifestyle for 25 plus years. This is my concealed edc blade of choice. Perfect length for my states 3.5in conceal carry blade law. Strong , perfect handle shape. Great grip. Any complaints are absolutely coming from snobs not meaning to use it past a letter opener and I stand firm in that. Some comments say they cannot figure out the horizontal carry: flip the dang Chicago screws around and they sink dealer into the rivers of the sheath, gotta be smarter than the item kiddos. Even if they didn't amazon you some longer ones overnight for 3 bucks. Sheath is as good as any 80 dollar custom kydex some craft beer guy wants to sling you online. It's got firm hold, blade and going anywhere in a grapple or doing cartwheels. Clip provides low profile under shirt, I suggest horizontal appendix carry right above the main vein fellas. This thing made me stop buying alternate conceal daggers for different occasions and outfits because it flat out nailed the mark right between the eyes. Anyone that claims different about the blade or the sheath in other reviews has never and will never use it past opening a box of tampons for their life partner william. Nemsaying? Sog caim in clutch with this so go ahead and buy it already. Cheers.

An EDC Dagger

I'm a dagger guy. I've always been drawn to the shape and style of daggers. I picked this one up in hopes of it being a manageable dagger that would work as an EDC. I wasn't disappointed. The S35VN blade is slim but tough and sharp out of the box. The slim G-10 scales on the handle are comfortable, grippy and contribute to the concealability of the knife. And it's not just the knife, the simplicity and slimness of the sheath, combined with the size of the knife make it easily carried and concealed. I wish more knife makers would follow suit with a minimalist design. It's just enough to hold the knife with excellent retention and nothing more, the perfection is in its simplicity.

Beware before buying!

Sog blew it again. Two hours and still cannot get the sheath scout carry/ horizontal as advertised. The sheath is a nightmare! Complete over seas garbage sheath. The knife is amazing. This is a three,four $ sheath with the cheapest sorriest screws that are just crap. Don't believe me. Pay two hundred dollars for the biggest sheath fail of all time.
