Pros: Weight, Overall Quality, Materials
Cons: Blade Sharpness
Strong well formed knife, requires some edge work.
I wanted an EDC that could punch well above its weight as a small survival knife, and if needed a self defense weapon. My grandfather spoke frequently about a boot knife he carried in WW2, so a small well made dagger appealed to me. This knife is built very tough, with a strong well formed point. The grind on the edge came with a fairly wide angle. It was sharp but not razor sharp. I re-edged my knife by hand to make future sharpening and maintenance of a razor edge manageable. It took me several hours. The steel holds a very fine edge, so I'd like to see future production runs give the knife an edge it deserves. Especially at this price point, the blade should come out of the box sharp and ready to go.
