I do love this knife. It is a great size for anyone who does'nt want a machete for a job that requires a small, well made blade. The larger version of this knife, the SEAL Team, was designed for the U.S. Navy SEALs, therefore it is a combination of a fighting knife, a survival knife, and a fery effective dive knife. This knife is full tang for all that were wondering, and it comes very sharp. It has serrations on the back of the blade for extra grip. It also has a checkered handle for wet conditions. I do like the sheath because it can be mounted on a belt, and because it has vertical mounts you could put it on the strap of a backpack. A small cutout in the sheath acts as a strap/cordage cutter when the knife is holstered. There are small holes in the bottom of the sheath for drainage. My two main dislikes about this knife are the coating, which has sort of a powder texture and feels as if it could wash off, and the fact that it is made in Taiwan. I feel that because it was designed for military use, it should be made in the U.S., but thats just me. Overall, I like this knife and I would recommend it.
