Great to drop into the haversack

This seems to be what I've been looking for as a lightweight "bag ax" that can fit in a shoulder bag for those trail obstructions that are too much for a 5 or 6 inch belt knife. The edge comes very sharp and cuts well. The grooves in the handle got a bit uncomfortable after some chopping - but easily remedied with some rubber O rings rolled onto the handle. The sheath doesn't look like it will hold up for long - a kydex version would be good. Overall, I like this tool!

Perfect compliment to Sog's tomahawk line

Great for processing kindling and other small branch stripping. The design is nice in the fact you can choke up on the blade for feather sticking. The sheath is just ok. Maybe a kydex sheath maker will come out with a better one. I also think this could be a candidate for a handle swap to get more length and power.
