Poor man's Corvette

Pros: Good design, strong lock mechanism and bank-vault lockup (I've always been a fan of back-locks), very sharp out of the box, nice 3.6" blade length, deep pocket clip. Cons: Opening could be a bit smoother, don't know the quality of tension washers, so only time will tell if they wear out quickly or not. Adjusting the tension screw(s) helps smooth the opening. G10 handles could definitely use some texturing, they are too smooth for wet hands. Recommended usage: EDC/tactical use Overall a very good knife. Fit and finish are very good, and the blade is absolutely hair shaving sharp. SOG knows how to sharpen a blade. Blade material (8Cr13MoV) is very nice for this price point, comparable to AUS8. Very happy with knife, wouldn't hesitate to get another one (perhaps the bead blasted finish next time).

awesome

this knife is fantastic! hair shaving sharp right out of the box. very affordable for a SOG. I like everything about it, it"s lightweight, great carry size, aggressive/modern appearance and super sharp. I'll be ordering another to have as backup.

Great folder with razor sharp edge

I am really happy with this purchase, this is a great knife especially for the price (can't believe I have a SOG for $35). Good grip on the G-10 handle and on the jimpings. Solid lock mechanism & wicked sharp edge out of the box. The adjustable thumbstud is a useful feature, I did adjust a bit, but no other adjustment had to be done. From now on this is my EDC knife.

pretty amazing

i think this product is a really great knife the back lock is really strong(not as strong as the arc lock), it comes really sharp out of the box, has lanyard holes. the weight is really light its 4.2 oz. my only pet peve abt this knife is that after about two month i decided to stab it into my fence a couple times and it bent the tip of it! my fence boards width is normal so thats just a pet peve, but it still works as a really great knife! the handle is g10 really durbable, and it comes with a reversable pocket clip so overall AMAZING!

A budget tactical knife

The knife is on the smaller side of what I'd use for tactical/defensive. I wouldn't use this knife for utility functions due to the softness of the steel. The steel in this knife doesn't hold an edge very well, however is easy to sharpen. The adjustable thumbstud is somewhat pointless since it tends to migrate to either end of the slot after a few uses. The g10 provides a medium amount of traction. The liners are unskeletonized and jimped in the choil and near the lock. The liners extend beyond the g10 handles at the back of the knife, creating some discomfort if you have larger hands. The pocket clip is excellent and holds the knife securely and deep in the pocket. I ordered 3 of these knives and received two different knives. The one had "Fusion by sog" printed on the blade and had a black finish. The other had "SOG" engraved on the blade and had a matte gray finish. I've noticed this in several of their fusion knives and I'm not sure why SOG does this.
