Best Fixed Blade EDC

My new favorite knife. its so flat you dont even know its there, but the handle is wide enough to get a good grip even with big hands. I usually have trouble getting a good grip on small fixed blades like the CRKT mininalist because of my big hands, but this one is just perfect. Grippy G10 feels great, choils are perfect, and the butt end of the handle makes for a comfortable reverse grip. This thing is sturdy, thick steel but still light. The jimping on the top is grippy without digging into your fingers like some knives do. The sheath is very tight, you can carry in any position, the clip is tight, you can clip it to your pocket or IWB with no problem. I'm ordering a 2nd one I like it so much, no complaints, beatiful satin blade, very sharp.

Solid Build

Bought this to take to sand environments where I prefer not to take my folders. The knife is sturdy and fits well in the sheath. The factory edge was very dull and needed sharpening out of the box. Handle locks well in the hand.

Nice knife, but arrived unsharp.

First the good news. This is a beautiful little knife. Fits my hand perfectly. Overall construction appears solid. Rivets holding the handle on are the only thing to spoil the appeanace, since they look a bit cheap. Sheath feels sturdy and well designed/made. Now the bad news. This is by far the bluntest knife I have ever received new from any maker. Will not even cut paper. Just crumples the edge a bit. Maybe it missed a QC stage, and this is probably an early production run, but I'd expect more from a SOG blade, even a cheap little one like this. The sheath is very tight. Hopefully it will loosen up before it carves a mark in the blade. I'd like to give it a five star rating, but I have a new knife to sharpen.

Great, Dull Knife

I really like this knife. Love the design, the way it fits in the sheath, the feel. It's a great knife. But it is dull out of the box. That's why a 4 star.
