Very Difficult To Open And I Am Returning The Knife
There is a lot that I like about this knife I like the fact that it's lightweight that it has s35vn steel that you can open it multiple ways however it's very difficult to open with all three ways you can open it. The flipper is not snappy and doesn't open all the way half the time. The thumb stud doesn't have a cut out so you can get your thumb in there to push the blade away from the handle so it doesn't really open well with the thumb studs and the XR clock is probably the best way to open it except if you fling it too hard it won't lock open if you don't fling it hard enough it won't lock open you have to get it just right and I've just come to the conclusion that I would rather not deal with all of this and just get a different knife. Maybe I have a defective unit but it's very stiff even when manually opening the knife it's just very stiff. This is not what I expected from my first SOG purchase.
