Best of a Dying Breed!

CPM-15V is going away, and Spyderco's series of sprint runs offer some of the best options for this super steel. Love the light weight and lock!! Came sharp, evenly ground, centered, and well-tuned out of the box. The multidirectional grip on the handle is pretty nifty -- more practical than I expected.

Great knife!

One of my favorite Spyderco Knives. Lightweight and still feels substantial enough for tougher jobs.

15V coolness

I collect the Spyderco sprint runs that use awesome steel and this one is very good. The Manix handle is beefy, the ergonomics are nice, and the texture works in any grip position. The blade is nearly centered, it is very sharp, and has an even edge grind. I like the stonewash finish, it should help protect this crazy high carbon (3.4%) high vanadium (14.5%) blade from rusting. It is only $12 more than the normal SPY27 version and Spyderco is the only production knife maker using 15V. Get one soon before people wake up and realize they can get a good USA made 15V knife for $160.

My first manix

This is my first manix 2 and I can say I'm very happy with the performance so far. I use it as a work knife and have not found it difficult to sharpen. Lock is solid and it came perfectly centered.

Outstanding in every way!

The typical excellent material quality, fit and finish you’d expect from Spyderco. The Manix 2 design might make it the most ergonomic and form functional shape in the entire EDC realm. A true classic with incredible action. On top of all that, 15V steel? What a beast! Seriously, what’s not to love here?!
