Excellent Knife

This knife goes with me everywhere. This is my 3rd one as I seem to lose them :( Handy for all sorts of stuff. The serrated blade stays sharp for a long time.

Spykerco Endura Full Serrated

My Endura full serrated is the only Spyderco knife I own as I am not, not, not a fan of their humpback blade design. That said, this one is perfect for the purpose I bought it for. I wanted a very lightweight knife with a supersharp stainless fully serrated blade to carry on bike rides and night runs just in case of a threatening dog (very rare but it happens). This knife fullfils that need. One of the deciding factors in favor of the Endura was the molded plastic clip. Most similiar knives I looked at had a stamped metal clip which, experience has taught, tend to catch, fray or tear the back pocket on expensive cycing jerseys. This clip is perfect, not too tight and doesn't damage the jersey fabric. It is also more confortable to grip in my hand when running than are my knives with metal clips. It is stainless, not stain free, so in use with sweaty palms and cycing jerseys, it will gather a few spots of surface tarnish which wipe off easily. Best to wipe it down occasionally with some lubricant or rust preventative. I recommend this knife for anyone who has a similiar need. There isn't one feature I need for this purpose that the Spyderco Endura doesn't meet. Perfect for the job.

My lock is slippery -

I bought this knife a while ago, but it hasn't seen any really hard use. When it's locked open, regular cutting pressure on the blade causes the lock to shift upwards, and there's a slight amount of give in the blade, so it doesn't feel all that solid... Seems like a well built, light weight, and full sized folder, but it leaves me feeling unsatisfied...
