Beautiful Knife

The knife is undeniably beautiful, yet does not sacrifice too much function (for a collector’s knife of course). I was convinced to get this model because my father has had an Endura for upwards of 10 years, and it still is going strong and serving him well. Personally, I enjoy the ease of opening and the overall shape of the knife and hopefully I can keep this knife for years and decades to come.

Spyderco Endura 4 Damascus - Elegant and Capable

This is one of my favorite edc knives, but forcreal use. Used fir a fish kill knife for big Grouper and Cobia, cleaned two deer and four wild hogs with it. Love the contrast between the Damascus and wood scales. Nicelt balanced and good feel. Blood, slime and grime cleans off much easier than traditional spyderco handles and it always gets noticed when used. The most capable, elegant and best deal spyderco at Knife Center....I bought a second.

Spyderco Endura 4 Damascus & Pakkawood

Form and function meet style and Spyderco ccraftsmanship. All of this for less than $200. The knife is stunningly beautiful with the VG-10 core damascus blade and the Pakkawood handle overlays. The Pakka wood handle gives it both a beautiful contrast to the damascus blade and the that extra width and texture to the grip. She is a beautiful knife that has soul, standing out in a world of plastic and metal....and she is on sale for less than $200. This is the most functional and beautiful knife you can get for the money, it's a Spyderco Endura.

Spyderco Home run, Endura 4 with Black Pakkawood handles

I don't normally review knives, however this is a great knife. The blade is phenomenally sharp from the factory. The open is solid, inviting you to repeatedly open and close the knife. Feels great in the hand, right size. The Pakkawood Handles are great, smooth with a solid grip in the hand, I've ordered three of these knives.

Epic level refinement and utility

Starting with the only con, the combination of a strong lockback spring, rippled blade surface friction, and very acute edges around the spyderhole do make deployment less comfortable than I expected. But man, she snaps open with authority and locks with elegance and precision. Probably the best lockback I own. The look of this knife is mesmerizing. Every part is exactly the right shape and dimensions. The example pictured is nice enough, but the damascus on mine is even better. It's hard to order something like this when you can't know if the layers will come out looking like a bad EKG reading or maybe a slice of a metal tree or some other bizarre pattern. When it's good like the one I received, it's as if the steel is formed of Jack Kirby's cosmic waves. It's also a stunningly good cutter that I have no qualms putting to use. I wondered if I'd miss a lanyard hole - I don't. By that same token, I wouldn't miss all the other little holes in the handles, either, if there was only one clip option.

1st and won't be my last spyderco

So the knife over is great edc kinfe, full flat grind, amazing looks on the blade, and durable pakkawood handels. Not to sure why everyone saying the spydie hole is hard to open and use. Mine works great i love it, butterie smooth and locks open with a snap.I am an handyman thought it would be a little to small, boy I was wrong definitely not to big but perfect size for all my handyman work that needs to be done. My first spyderco and I cant believe I haven’t gotten one yet. Definitely proven that I need alot more spydercos in my collection. Lol Also the customer service is top notch! And questions I had they answered throughly and very timely. Overall experience was great and definitely my number one kinfe outlet to buy from.

Hard to thumb open when deploying

The only reason I gave this Spyderco a 4 is due to how hard it is to thumb open. Every other trate is exactly what I look for in a folder.

Really fine Knife, Wish Laminate was Stainless

It’s not a major complaint but the laminate sides are not Stainless. They discolor and smell when doing the Mayo or vinegar test. It cleans up well (no discoloration after mild soap wash) however and smell goes away. Perhaps this is just me but I use my knives for making sandwiches in the on day hikes and on picnics. The good news is that this has forced me not to use my collector knife! I still really like it and in my collection it am proud of owning it.
