Excellent Product

I pretty much use this knife as an EDC (i.e. cutting boxes, random zip ties, network/phone cables, etc). It is incredibly sharp right from the manufacturer and looks amazing. Love this knife!! Used to carry a Gerber Paraframe II and it doesn't hold a candle to the Spyderco Delica. There aren't any drawbacks as of yet. Would definitely purchase from this supplier and manufacturer again.

Bought this after spotting it online, i really wanted a lightweight knife and i thought the black finish on the blade looked great. Only used it for simple tasks so far but its a really sharp blade and nice to handle. I can see my collection growing as really like the new knives Spyderco have at the moment.

Absolutely amazing

This knife is excellent. I have been carrying it every day for three years now in both urban and rural settings and any task that was presented to this knife was completed with ease. Even thought the knife is not designed for it, I have used this knife for prying, splitting wood, and many other heavy duty tasks. I left the knife out for a week in the cold, wet rain and when I cleaned it up it was like brand new. Flawless knife, I recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight EDC.

This is the second Delica that I have owned. I lost the first one. I loved the first and was not disappointed by the latest rendition. A true workhorse that cuts everything quickly and retains its edge

Excellent

I am so pleased with this knife - it is exactly what I wanted. It is light and comes out of the box very sharp. The clip is moveable so I was able to reposition it to what works best for me. Once the action was adjusted a little it opens easily and smoothly (it was fine right out of the box, but now it is *perfect*) I use this as an EDC - everything from opening packages to peeling and slicing a cucumber for my salad! The knife clips securely and unobtrusively into a pocket or if the skirt I am wearing doesn't have pockets, it clips to the waistband at the small of my back and is light and comfortable enough that I forget its even there until I need it for something. I will also say that I purchased this knife after an incident in which I found myself alone and cornered by a threatening person - not to brandish at the merest provocation, but as a woman it gives me an extra level of confidence and calm knowing that I can protect myself (or at least make someone think twice) if the threat moves from screaming at and cornering me to something more. But for everyday, it's a pleasure to carry and it's incredibly useful!

Extremely Happy

After visiting the local Bass Pro, I fell in love with the look, feel, action, and size of this knife (light) but struggled with the $110 price tag. I searched online at multiple sites and they were all around the same price factoring in shipping. I was surprised finding this knife at Knifecenter.com for $80 bucks and reasonable shipping. Concerned about getting a scratch & dent or defected one I wondered if this deal was too good to be true. Since I lost my last Spyderco I really needed a replacement and when ahead and pulled the trigger. It arrived within a week and it is "Sweet" and in mint condition. I'll definitely buy more knifes at the knifecenter.com. Great price, great service, and great website to get info. The checkout process was easy and email updates on the shipping order. KUDOS knifecenter !!

Spyderco Is The Best!

I love Spyderco's Delica. I now have 4 Delicas. I have close to 30 Spydercos of other styles. I love all of them. The Endura, Delica and Centofante are my favorite styles. I use the Delica for anything and everything. Around the home, going hiking, camping, fishing and hunting. It is great to carry and use. Fits your hand well. It fits naturally in the hand. It is extremly pleasing to the eye. I always have a Spyderco on me.

A Perfect Tool

I have just completed purchasing the third identical example of this knife. The first was lost in Afghanistan, the second was recently given away to an impromptu party host for the Loy Kratong ceremony in Rayong, Thailand, and now I'm on number three. My affection for this knife is counter-intuitive. I'm not normally crazy about the combo blade - it's hard to get properly sharpened, but the serrated part is great for cord and rope, and the tip is good for everything else. I have half a dozen other EDC candidates, mostly Spyderco, but this thing is for me (I'm only 5'8") the perfect weight, length, and thickness. I had originally opted for the all black because it was supposed to be a last-chance card to play in AFG, and I did not want anything shiny. While there is at least one other combo Delica 4 in production, I keep coming back to this low-profile little fellow. It opens perfectly every time (all three of them), stays open, and closes easily. I prefer the solid clip to the wire one. The scale material is absolutely non-slip, which is really a boon. I hope I'm finished buying these knives - there are so many others - but it is certain that if #3 disappears, there will be another. Thanks to Knife Center, #3 was waiting for me here in Texas by the time I got back from Thailand! Highly recommend this knife. Some feel that the VG10 is an "ordinary" steel, but I have never felt a need for anything more exotic on this knife.

Lives up to its reputation

This is a knife I carry around as my EDC blade. I have been carrying it around for about 4 years now. Amazing steel, design and durability. I must say my one complaint is the pocket clip. The pocket clip is disappointing and bent on me and turned into garbage quickly, but the knife makes up for it. No matter how many EDC style knives I buy, nothing will replace the delica!

Solid knife, delivered promptly

This knife is a classic edc workhorse. The serrations help for cutting things like rope. It arrived razor sharp. Easy to use with nice, satisfying one handed opening and closing (once technique is mastered). Heavier than expected (although still light weight) with steel liners but a very solid feel in the hand. The ergonomics are great, as expected with most Spyderco knives. This one is a winner.

Handy little EDC

This a great little knife I use as my EDC. Light weight and fits in my pocket easily. The moveable clip and multiple locations made it very easy to adjust to my opening preference. It is a little difficult to flip open with my thumb but that does not diminish its quality.

I've had a stainless steel Delica for 10 years and recently lost it. I replaced it with the one I bought from the Knifecenter.com. Unfortunately I find the blade to be not all that sharp out of the box and the action extremely stiff even after a few weeks of use. Perhaps this item has lost some quality over the past years. This is an issue with Spyderco.
