Everyday carry knife, i've carried them for the past 10 plus years. i've cut live wires with them and opened can of paint with tip. I have abused and abused. it continues to hold up. Im currently getting stainless steel delicas engraved right now as groomsmen gifts. Can say enough about this product.
Used for everyday carry, it is light to carry, easy to open and strong enough for my normal daily use. I bought it for the compo blade. I have others with both the plain edge and the serrated edge and have found that at times I need one or the other. So, the combo blade seems like the right compromise.
This is a great use and abuse knife. The looks aren't the greatest, but the function is awesome. Definitely need to touch up the blade to sharpen it when it arrived, but everything else was perfect.
I once had an original numbered Delica made for and distributed by Chesapeake Knife Company. While traveling, I placed it in my checked baggage and was subsequently relieved of it under colour of TSA inspection. Needless to say, I was yet again disappointed on several levels. Anyway, I recently acquired a 4th generation Delica and it is almost like an old fried returning. As some gain weight with age, my new Delica seems to have a bit more heft than its senior predecessor...I like it. The edge of this instrument is unparalled in MHO (splitting hairs is no chore). This is a great everyday carry piece and can be available for a myriad of uses.
Cons: Weight, Handle Feel, Lock Ease of Use, Handle Material, Pocket Clip, Lock Type

This was a replacement for a black delica I had used for 10 years, but lost after I accidentally left it on the tailgate of my truck. I will miss my old friend, but this knife is a great replacement! I love it! It is just as tough as my old one!
I lost my spyderco that my wife gave me 20 years ago. I loved that knife. The new knife is also great. Super sharp and easy to use. This is highly recommended for everyday use as a geologist and as a scout leader.
Had this knife for some time. Love it: always sharp, easy to open/close, etc. However, recently I opened it and really looked at the blade. Seemed to be some mild crud on the surface -- like something left over from cutting packages open. Some serious cleaning with alcohol revealed an array of shallow rust spots. Cleaned and oiled the blade doesn't look bad, except up close and at the right angle. Frankly I've never had a stainless steel blade rust before as I clean them after use and for non kitchen knives I use Millitec-1 to treat the surfaces. Buy the knife by all means, but make use you clean/oil it on a regular basis.
Pros: Weight, Ease of Opening, Handle Material, Blade Material
Cons: None
Perfect for EDC
When I don't carry my Delica or Endura Emerson opener then this is the blade I carry. It does everything I need well. This is one of the most versatile Spyderco knives every produced!
Great for all uses. Perfect size to carry in pocket, on waistband, in boot, ect. Light weight. Durable handle material. Durable stainless steel blade but still easy to sharpen. The only thing this knife isn't good for is whittling because of the partially seriated blade.
Great knife to carry all the time. It's lite and small enough to carry at the beach in board shorts or when dressed up. Also comfortable in the hand.
