Typical Spyderco. Well built, solid, good feel in your hand. This knife is in my everyday carry rotation. I like how slim it is. I usually carry it over other knives when I think I might need the partial serrated section of the blade. As usual Knifecenter shipped quickly. I would buy another one of these without hesitation.
Sorry Phil, this knife is made in Seki-City, Japan. NOT China! Some of the finest blade steel in the World comes from Japan. Ever hear of a Samurai sword? Due more research before you comment.
This thing is the best at what it's designed for. Lightweight edc. Every Knife user should own a version of the delica. This was my first real knife, and it has stayed in my collection and usage even when I had to sell off other knives. 0 cons to this knife. Except made in China.
I use this as one of my EDCs, when I want something smaller and lighter than the usual 4" EDCs I carry. Spyderco has done nothing but get better with every generation of knives they revise. The new Foliage Green is a great addition to the color line. If you like thin, light and sharp...this is your knife.
Pros: Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, Overall Quality, Ease of Opening
Cons: None
Simply the best
I use my Delica for everyday tasks at work, including many heavy duty tasks, and also as a camping knife. This knife is faultless. The quality, precise attention to design, and robustness are outstanding. Value for money is 2nd to none. Put simply, Spyderco knives are the best available, and this is a fine example of their craftsmanship.
This is a very useful knife, great for EDC and military/utility duties. The handle is very secure and I bet it would have a firm grip even with Nomex flight gloves on. VG10 is an awesone steel I'd rate it higher than even 154CM. Overall the quality is extremely good. I just "gifted" mine to a friend who was home on leave, but headed back downrange to Iraq. Now I need to get myself another...oh well!
This is my second Spyderco Delica as I recently lost the first one. I have many dressier knives and many larger knives, but this Delica is a great everyday knife as it performs most cutting tasks extremely well and is easy to carry; whether in your dress slacks, jeans or even clipped to your bathig suit. I highly recommend it.
Pros: Weight, Ease of Opening, Handle Material, Blade Material
Cons: None
Nice feel, and light weight in the pocket
For a light weight knife it feels balanced in the hand.
