Nice and light, great frame lock. The handles are super comfortable and it came extremely sharp. I like the fact there are f 4 different ways to attach the pocket clip as well. My first Spyderco and most likely not my last!

That Spyderco feel in the hand
Look, we all know the stuff some people say about the steel and so forth. I wouldn't mind if it were 9Cr, honestly. But I don't mind the 8Cr. I'm going to use this thing to open the occasional box and so forth, like most of us. It's perfectly capable of EDC duty. And it's a good solid Spyderco folder for a budget price, especially with the Black Friday discount. Great feel to it, with the bidirectional texture in the handle and the solid lockup. If you're not sure about Spydercos, try one in a store or just buy one in this price range. They feel good, they feel well made. You can't tell it from a web listing. Just hold one, work the action a few times. If you still don't like it, fine, but for most it's a revelation. And just so you know, it did the Spydie middle-finger flick for me the first day I got it. Nice. : )
