I own several high-end Spyderco knives, but this Tenacious just may be my favorite of them all. This one ends up getting more pocket time than all of my high-end knives combined. At least for me, the handle on this lightweight version fits my hand perfectly, and the blade is just the right length for everyday tasks. The lock is solid, it is balanced, and simply just feels right in the hand. Some may frown on the blade steel as not being one of the new high-performance steels. I can tell you that the blade steel on this Tenacious is perfectly fine and does everything you would need a knife to do for every day carry. Although this knife costs much less than many others Spyderco knives, this is not a cheap knife. This is a great knife and I would recommend this one to anyone who is looking for a great, solid knife.
In my opinion, the tenacious lightweight is 100 times better than the net shapeless g 10. The blade has gained a lot of sharpness. The only complaint is the clip. The knife is sticking out of your pocket. Another small problem was that the knife creaked when opened. This was solved with a drop of vd 10 oil and it was ok. Nice and successful spyderco with quality comparable to non-Chinese production. Great.
These new lightweight knives coming from Spyderco are nothing short of awesome. I have the tenacious lightweight and the para 2 lightweight and love them both. They are super thin but feel fantastic in the hand. Great knives at great prices. I just wish they could bling them up with 2 tone handles or carbon shred.
Like many other reviews. It's a good, solid, light, sharp, sturdy, light, knife. If you like Spyderco knives designs you'll going to like this one. The handle gives plenty of room for your fingers. Deploys and closes one handed easy enough. If you haven't had a Spyderco knife before this is a good one to test the waters with. My first Spyderco knife sold me instantly. This one has a good price. It is little longer than some out there but that's exactly what I like about it. I recommend it.
I have had this one for several months now and it is a fantastic knife for the price. Great value. Decent steel. I prefer this blade shape over my Delica and I bought a high end PM2 and liked the Tenacious so much better in my hand I returned the PM2. In fact, I liked this knife so much that when Spyderco came out with it in CPM S35VN steel I bought one. Both are in my EDC rotation.
Love this knife..fits hand really good.easy open.this is a great buy..
