Great knife for the $money

I bought this as a gift for a friend who buys & abuses cheap knives. I sharpened his damaged *$%@" knives & gave him this so he might respect a superior blade. Time will tell but he hasn't brought this back for me to resharpen. Better living one knife at a time.

really nice knife overall for price

This is a very nice affordable Spyderco with the great folding action with the round thumb hole that seems to be their trademark. The liner lock works fine also. The overall feel and quality are just fine for this price class. This makes a nice EDC rotation knife. Have not tried to use it on heavy jobs but for light duty it works for me. If it were a notch better finish I would give it 5 stars, but it has slightly sharp edges on back side of knife and maybe would benefit from a deep carry clip, but not really problem issues. Maybe I just need more knives in this price range to compare it to. Handle material is pretty good actually. Good starter Spyderco!
