in a different class

great thick spine. lock up is tight and exact. solid feel. cool looks. not exactly a gentlemans pocket knife but rather a next generation edc knife. i own a spydie native and although the blade is of the same material the overall feel of the storm is in a different class...... i cant find a thing to fault this modern and trend setting design. (maybe an exotic handle in mammoth ivory or something would be a boon)

beautiful, impressive, fits in the coin pocket!

It is a big small knife - it seems much bigger than the blade length would lead you to think. It is a little piece of art and it does fit very well in the coin pocket of your jeans.

Great Knife

I've had this for several months; I preordered it and waited forever until it was released. Well worth the wait! Holds an edge amazingly well. Easy to sharpen since it is hollow-ground. Blade locks up rock solid. Smooth action. Framelock doesn't "stick" like some I've seen; it unlocks easily. Screws are countersunk exactly flush with the G10; a nice touch. Really a perfectly made knife.

Awesome

This is my every day carry knife. The blade, at just under 2.5 inches, is legal under [my] local and federal laws. The handle is a decent size (6 ft. tall, bigger hands) and provides a nice grip. The blade is sharp. The pocket clip is solid. Easy one-handed opening (though I'd love to see the Emerson Wave feature on it) The color is much more appealing than it appears. I highly recommend this knife (even at the price).

Awesome EDC

So this is a great little EDC knife. Solid lock up. It's not the same though as what you'd get in a CRK or a strider mono lock, but for the money it's pretty awesome.

good but mine had some issues

Ergos for me were off a little. I have sage and native both felt better in my hand. 6 ft average hand size. Lock stuck and didn't release correct. Sent it back for the excellent native. Knifecenter was 5star service.

looks great, but fits the hand poorly

i love the look of the knife & the blade is great, but the handle is terrible. pros: the blade is awesome like you'd expect from spyderco. good steel, great shape, & super sharp. the blade opens easily with one hand but not really flickable. overall the knife is light but rock solid. cons: the handle shape is..poor. if you hold it where the finger groove is, the handle is short, uncomfortable & makes the blade hard to control. if you choke up & put your thumb on the jimping, you will cut your index finger - the handle has a slope that will push your finger onto the unprotected blade. the lock is a little sticky very disappointing
